Chi Item of the Week
If you are or will be anywhere near the water, your Chi needs one of these!
Today’s Chi Tip
It’s important for us as fur parents to be able to touch our dogs’ feet for grooming or to check for injury or whatever. But that seems to be a sensitive area that dogs don’t like to be touched.
To help your Chi learn to allow you to touch her feet, do this. Start petting your dog in places on her body she does like. Get her all relaxed until she’s sleepy and limp. Continue to softly stroke her body and just lightly and briefly stroke her feet too. Do this every time you pet her when she is relaxed and soon she will be fine with you touching her feet when you need.
No chis in this but it’s just so adorable!
Chihuahua Fun Fact
Dogs are capable of understanding up to 250 words and gestures, can count up to five and can perform simple mathematical calculations.
