Chi Item of the Week
If you have a male Chihuahua that likes to mark his territory in your house by peeing on things, this is a great potty training aid. Just keep this on him until it’s time to take him outside to pee out there.
It’s also good if you breed dogs but need to give your female a break (it’s not healthy to breed a female dog with every heat cycle). You keep this on your male dog while your female is in heat so they can’t breed.
And finally if you have an elderly male dog who is incontinent, this will help him to not have accidents in the house.
Today’s Chi Tip
I’m sure all my wonderful readers already know this but just in case, never adopt or buy a Chihuahua just to live outside. Besides being very sensitive to weather conditions, Chis are very social animals who thrive on the companionship of humans . They often will literally go crazy if they are constantly left alone.
Chihuahua Fun Fact
In the mid 1800s when Chihuahuas first became popular in the US, they were sold by Mexican peasants to tourists. They called them Arizona dogs or Texas dogs.
