Milo is so excited to see his mom and his new baby human sister. After checking her out, he tries to give her his toy. So sweet! I was a little nervous about how hyper he was around the baby. What do you think? Am I being too much of a worry-wart?

Milo was just excited that you were home after being gone for a couple of days and he probably didn't understand the reason for your absence. Since you are now home he will calm down and get back into his routine and start learning about his new human sister the way he should. I never had any problems with my son Patrick and my chi Aspen. After we explained to her 'gentle' a few times, she realized that he was a 'baby' and she literally went bonkers over him, as if he were one of her own puppies as I was breeding small litters off and on and Aspen was a VERY good mommy. She was also an excellent babysitter. You might find that Milo would be willing to take on a couple of those responsibilities himself once he gets used to his new sister and realizes that he isn't going to have to fight for your attention.

Aspen sounds like a special little dog Mercedes.
