I have a chihuahua-mix. Jack's mama is a chihuahua-pug, his daddy is a Papillion. He is nearly 5 years old. He barks at everything, how do you train them not to bark so much. He's very protective of me. They are several people he does not like, I can't let them in, he let's me know that they are not welcome here. He's a good dog, I'm disabled and sometimes have a fall, he's right by my side, he's a good dog and I love him so much

It's hard to break them from barking. Both chis and jacks are very barky. But it can be done. I have a few articles on it: https://ilovemychi.com/teaching-your-dog-not-to-bark/ https://ilovemychi.com/chihuahua-barking/

I do not like the video of the little male dog being forced to swim while the people laughed as hyenas at him. He obviously was trying desperately to find someway to climb out of the pool and they just kept putting him back in. It's just as not funny when I've seen people doing the same thing to their small children. I think I'm both cases the people should've arrested for cruelty.
