Hi, I was wondering if anyone has a chi with a collapsed trachea.My male chi Doby was diagnosed with it in April 2021, he just turned 7. They say it’s very common in small dogs.I would appreciate any and all feedback.I know there’s no cure for it, but I would like to know if anyone has been through this.Thanks

@Cathy, Hi, I had ready that collapsed trachea can occur if you use a collar. I know I bought a harness for this specific reason. I dread to think what could happen if my Chanel had a collar and the pulling sje does.
Yes that’s true if you use a collar with a leash. Mine wear a collar all the time and do fine. They use a harness when out on walks.
