I have a 3lb Chihuahua 14 years old that has Pulmonary Hypertension. She has had it for almost 2 years and is currently on Sidenafil twice a day. Does anyone have a Chihuahua going through the same thing?

Love the meme's. I couldn't chose between the 4-would have to have them all. My Chi eats homemade food, and yes, i talk to her. If I had $100-don't know what i'd spend it on-she has a whole drawer full of clothes, that's a summer and winter as well as spring & fall things we switch off according to the season. And yes, she is on both of my screen savers.

Many years ago, Bella, my long-haired Chi, developed a lump at an injection site. The lump went away but a 50-cent sized bald spot remained (hair covers). That is when my current vet began dividing up the injections rather than giving them all at one time. No more reactions. Bella and I have been together for 10 years. I had lost my husband and our Chi, 8-Ball, and Bella's family could no longer care for her. We lost our home in the Camp Fire in 2018. In the past 15 months we have lived in a tiny trailer, traveled to live with Canadian relatives before returning to live with a friend in the local area. In spring we will once again have a home of our own. I could never have done this without the love and devotion of Bella (the sweetest dog I have ever owned). She handled everything way better than I did but loved me all the same through times of frustration and despair. Yes, Chi's rule--especially my Bella.

I'm so glad Bella was there to help you through all that Marguerite! That's what I do too with vaccines. Only one per visit with a few weeks between before getting another one. I also get my vet to give them a shot of Benadryl before the vaccine to lessen the chance of an allergic reaction.
