Wow, check out this little old man! Actor Dermot Mulroney recently brought him on a talk show. Poor little guy has to deal with 2 rambunctious puppies at home and is blind, deaf and toothless. Funny video but I do feel sorry for the little old man.
That was cruel & abusive to watch this 22nd year senior being the butt of a lot of lame jokes to make the actor seem funny & to think he used to be one of my favorites. I too had a blind dog & it was beyobd pitiful. He even bragged that it happened on a daily basis & pretty much waiting for him to die. This truly broke my heart & nothing is remotely funny about it..Nothing ?
Personally I don’t think he meant to be cruel. I just think he’s ignorant about dogs. It definitely isn’t smart to bring in 2 puppies while they still have Maverick. Poor old guy doesn’t deserve having to deal with that on a daily basis.

Agreed! And my chi/pug is turning 16 in 2 mths and she gets around pretty good. But I would never do this to her!

This video was sad and disgusting. I have had 3 old dogs and I would never subject them to this abuse. He is ignorant if he believes that the puppy running at a blind, deaf and feeble old guy is love.
I think puppy may love Maverick but being a puppy, he’s just too rough on the poor old guy.

Yes, I adore puppies but I think out of respect for this old gentleman, they should have waited until he passed before getting a new puppy.

Chi that is dealing with two Chi puppies and he loves it. He is deaf, but still has taken them under his wing. Every household is different, and I’m sure a dog that has movie star parents has the best care.
Maybe but there is a big difference in dog years between a 15 year old and a 22 year old.

I didnt find this funny either. I have a 16 year old and have other smaller/younger ones but they absolutely respect her and give her space. They will stand completely stand still if shes up and walking around.

He is a jerk. I have a 16 year old Chi who is almost blind and hearing is bad. He is also missing most of his teeth but I would never make fun of him like this idiot did. I hope when he is old his grandkids make fun of him and torture him.

i used to like this guy but not anymore. so much stress to bring a dog with that many problems on a show that is has to be busy. also for them to let the younger dogs pick on him. that is not funny at all.

Wow I used to like Dermot. He is an ignorant jerk. Poor Maverick is blind and cannot hear and he records these playful puppies messing with poor Maverick who cannot see or hear them coming at him. He is probably scared and yes stressed. He does not deserve Maverick.Maverick deserves a home where he can be in a peaceful setting.

Actor Dermot Mulroney is a jerk of a pet owner. Have a heart! Maverick needs love and peace, security, cuddled and all his needs met in his final days. Poor little guy should not be the butt of jokes and cruel entertainment. May God watch over and protect this lovely Chihuahua!
