            I am so sorry to hear about your step-daughter. My thoughts and prayers go with you.

            I am also sorry to hear about Petey and the other animal losses. As you know we lost little Angel some time back and Chio is still mourning her loss. She looks for Angel every morning, and then lays down in Angel’s day bed. It is so sad to see.

            We would like to get another rescue (female) to keep Chio company, but it would have to be a special small one that is quite a bit younger. Another loss might destroy our baby.

    12. Sorry to read about your Chi. Mine crossed Rainbow Bridge this yr in June and I can honestly say that he helped teach me so many lessons in life about unconditional love and friendship. I will never forget my best friend of 12yrs and how much he loved me. Jaz

    15. my little chi Miley is 8 Recently she started getting upset when she hears thunder. Nothing I do calms her down as soon as the storm is over she is fine Her vet said I could give her some allergy medicine or try a thunder shirt (which he said may work or may not) Any other suggestions?

Surprising they get along except for the occasional child jealousy syndromes! They are what is keeping me sane during these virus trying times. And at 70, I need all the help they give.     49. Ive been a bully mom for many years. I have only one left and she is already 9 yrs.
      I recently fell for this little boy Chi. Omgoodness.
      My bully loves him and he thinks shes pretty great too. I was so shocked at how smart he is. When i got him he was 3 months old, maybe 3 lbs. Within that first week Archie was fetching. He loves to play fetch. He is only 4 months now and knows so many commands. Still potty training. He knows exactly what he is supposed to do outside and always goes straight out and does his business. So Im sure he will get it very soon.
      I have some cute cute pics of Archie in his jean jacket and bow tie collar. I should caption them.

    53. I rescued two five wk old Chi’s whose mom quit feeding, they are now 6 months old and doing well. One nip kisses, she’ll lightly nip and then immediately kiss you… the other chi is Chill. Never nips . is there any way to break her of her Nip/Kiss habit?

      • Momma dogs usually break their puppies from doing this by giving a loud yip and pushing them off. You can do something similar. Just say “ouch” in a strong voice and gently put her down. Ignore her for a minute or so. Do this every time she nips you and she will eventually get the hint.

    80. Love the funny’s. Yes I have dog insurance. Very expensive. If your dog is healthy it’s kind of waste of money.

      • Yeah, I agree. It does feel like a waste of money. But I sure wish I kept up with it now that I have spent well over 10K on both dogs that have health problems.

I have had many pét the 73 years that I have been on earth and I loved them all dearly but as I have gotten older it is easier for me to care for a smaller dog and I have had 2 amazing loveable kindand loyal chihuahuas if you are loving kind and patient to them they will reward u with unconditional love.

      • My chihuahua is WAY different. She is super sweet and only growls when she feels threatened or unsafe. She only really play bites but it’s only a small nibble.

        • Mine is super sweet too. I have never heard her growl at all. She will bark if someone is at the door but that’s it. She even shares her food with her doggy brothers.

    83. Perfect end to a day. All I wanted to do was print each picture of these darlings and start one for my babies.

      I saw some of you have lots of babies and I am jealous. Bed time is so darn special with all bed making going on…finding just the right mix of pillow and blanket before they lay their darling little heads to rest.

      Then I put a light cover around them so I can sleep knowing they are all safe and warm. My heart goes out to any fur babies that don’t have it this good! Our prayers for all.
